If a scam got itself a Hollywood movie, you know it bad. The Fyre Festival is probably one of the more recent and well-publicized or should we say, criticized festival to date. Created by Billy McFarland’ and co-produced by rapper Ja Rule, it was a complete and utter mess.

In 2017, the festival was promoted by several high-profile influencers, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid. It was said to be a luxury getaway in The Bahamas with first-class accommodations for nearly all of its attendees and a drool-worthy setlist.
