Early Life
Mladen Solomunw was conceived in Travnik, Yugoslavia on the 27th of December 1975.
He worked as a boy in construction for his father. He discovered that he enjoyed filmmaking.
With a few of his friends, he founded a small production house where they made short films together. After working in film for five years, he discovered that music was his true passion. He was accompanied by tapes by his cousin who used to frequent nightclubs.
Career
Solomun began making music in 2005. In late 2005, Solomun founded Diynamic Records with Adriano Trolio. Adriano is responsible for booking Diynamic. Diynamic’s motto says “Do it Yourself.”
He remixed Noir & Haze’s Around’ track in 2011. Resident advisor dubbed the track Remix of Year. Mixmag named him the “DJ Of The Year” for 2012.
Solomun had two residencies held in Ibiza during 2015 at the nightclubs Pacha & Destino. He began 2016 by hosting two events at The BPM Festival: Solomun +1 and Diynamic In the Jungle.
As part of the After Hours content, he was an in-residence dance DJ for Grand Theft Auto Online in 2018. Solomun also created the music video for “Customer is Kings” entirely within Grand Theft Auto V’s game engine as part of a larger collaboration between Rockstar Games and him.
